REACH Conference 2018: every year a gathering takes place between international chemical suppliers, aimed at improving their trade in and out of Europe. We visited this year's conference to find out the main topics of discussion and the problems facing suppliers. Dušan Prištic escaped communist Czechoslovakia in 1979 to make a new life for himself in the USA, and he certainly succeeded. Focus on architectural design, he helped design some of the world's most iconic buildings, even working on the World Trade Center before the infamous terrorist attacks took place, seventeen years ago today. StableNextSol is an EU-funded project to create efficient, stable, next generation photovoltaic panels to generate electricity. We spoke to Dr. Mária Omastová to find out the progress, and what part her team played.
