Special end-of-year Saturday edition - 2019 was a year of anniversaries in Slovakia, including 30 years since the 1989 Velvet Revolution, 75 years since the start of the Slovak National Uprising in the Second World War, and 100 years since the death of one of the greatest figures in Slovakia’s past, Milan Rastislav Štefánik. We look back at some of the features we presented this year in remembrance of these important historical moments.
