As the number of SARS-CoV-2 infections in Slovakia continues to be low, and the government slowly and cautiously begins to relax restrictions, some are concerned that Slovakia's success in limiting infections could lead to a kind of careless complacency. Although optimistic, virologist Boris Klempa - part of the team that successfully isolated the virus in a Slovak laboratory - warns that the danger is not over, and discusses how a long-awaited accurate anti-body test could shed light on the situation. After five weeks of forced closure, small businesses in Slovakia (less than 300 sq. meters) are now allowed to reopen. I speak with a few shop managers about how the closure has impacted them, both financially and personally.
