In January, Radio Slovakia International commemorates the velvet divorce of Czechoslovakia. In 1 January 1993, two new states emerged from this region: the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. Such a division without any loss of life is very rare. To this day, Czechs and Slovaks call themselves brothers. Marianna Palková and Zuzana Botikova visited the towns on the Czech-Slovak border.
