Slovakia scored 83 out of 100 points for press freedom. Organisation Reporters Without Borders uses a new method based on five main categories: political environment, legal framework, economic conditions, social and cultural context, and security. Slovakia achieved the best result in the social and cultural context, ranking 10th out of 180 countries.
